Dr. Akinwande Akintola is the founder and Medical Director of Lyte Psychiatry. A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Akintola established Lyte Psychiatry with a mission to make high-quality psychiatric care accessible to patients across Texas through a hybrid in-person and telehealth model.
Dr. Akintola completed his medical degree and psychiatric residency training with honors, and has since dedicated his career to treating adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and mood disorders.
He is known for his thorough, patient-centered approach — taking the time to understand each patient's unique history and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.
