Lyte Psychiatry provides comprehensive mental healthcare tailored to your unique needs. We offer individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management, CBT, DBT, teletherapy, child & adolescent psychiatry, addiction therapy, and couples counseling — for all ages in Texas and New Mexico.

We treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, sleep disorders, social anxiety, and more. We also offer support for relationship issues, stress management, addiction, and personal growth.

Services & Treatment

We offer individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addiction therapy, and child & adolescent psychiatry. All services are available in-person and via teletherapy.

Yes. Our providers offer both psychotherapy and medication management, as well as comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. Many patients benefit from a combination of both approaches, and we tailor every treatment plan to the individual.

Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Initial psychiatric evaluations run 60–90 minutes. Follow-up medication management appointments are generally 20–30 minutes. The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals.

During your first appointment, your therapist or psychiatrist will conduct an initial assessment to gather information about your background, current concerns, and goals for treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get to know your provider. There is no pressure — we move at your pace.

It's important to feel comfortable and safe with your provider. If you don't feel like it's a good fit, we encourage you to discuss your concerns with us. We can help you find a provider who is a better match for your needs — no questions asked.

Yes, group therapy is confidential. All members of the group are expected to maintain the privacy of other members. Your therapist will establish clear confidentiality guidelines at the start of each group.

Telehealth & Appointments

You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a webcam and a reliable internet connection. We use secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing technology. We'll send you a secure link before your appointment.

Research has consistently shown that teletherapy is equally effective as in-person therapy for many mental health conditions. It also offers the added benefits of convenience, privacy, and flexibility — especially valuable for patients across Texas and New Mexico.

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. We understand that life happens — please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

Insurance & Payment

Yes, Lyte Psychiatry accepts most major insurance plans in Texas, including BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, UnitedHealthCare, Cigna, and Magellan. We also accept Medicaid. Please contact our office to verify your specific coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
